Come join us to see local band THE GOLD KINGS (Mark Galbo, Steve Green, Sean McNamara, & Mark Frankman) open for LANGHORNE SLIM (vocals/guitar-Malachi DeLorenzo, drums-Jeff Ratner, keys/banjo/bass-David Moore)--an "alternative country, rock, and bluegrass-like" band that has been featured on David Letterman and at Bonnaroo, Bumbershoot, Austin City Limits Festival, Newport Folk Fest, Rhythm and Roots, Sunset Junction, SXSW, and Lollapalooza.
Slim will be entertaining us with their 3rd album "Be Set Free," which was produced by Chris Funk of the band The Decemberists. It is full of "hold your heart" moments and "raise a drink" dance vibes with lush string arrangements and phenomenal sonic talents. You really don't want to miss this.
