Artist Info:

Ed Helms, long time favorite and star in one of 2009's best comedy's, The Hangover, will be back for part of the festival.  Although busy, and having just completed the filming of The Hangover Part II, Ed will manage to squeeze in his friends from Telluride and help get the laughs rolling on our stage.  Should be a hoot, to say the least.

This year's line up features some familiar faces to Telluride: Seth Morris, Jason Mantzoukas and Brian Huskey are back. Those who were at Locals' Night last year witnessed this trio's brilliant and hilarious rendition of a Telluride Town Council meeting.

Jamie Denbo and Jessica Chaffin are bringing back an all new Rona and Beverly after a hugely successful run at London's Soho Theatre in the West End. Look for the ladies to have some very special and perhaps famous guests to poke and prod about their love lives. Jamie has been very busy otherwise with appearances on several sitcoms as well as a recurring spot on Craig Ferguson's show.

Tig Notaro blew everyone away last year with her stand up set and she's back for a second time. Tig has been killing it around the country on the stand up circuit as well as showing up on NBC's Community and Comedy Central's Benson Interruption. Tig is a true comic master and we are incredibly lucky to have her.

Scot Armstrong has graced our comedy festival for the last few years and we are excited to have him back in 2011!  Scot is best known as a writer in the film industry, having written the films Old School, Starsky & Hutch, Road Trip and recently The Hangover Part II.  In addition to his writing skills, Scot is has lots of character and sharp jokes to brin to the stage.  Newcomer to The Telluride Comedy Fest, Jon Daly, has been seen in Parks and Recreation, Bride Wars, and his award winning NYC sketch group, Mr. A$$.

Schedule of Events:

Thursday: Locals’ Night
As always, Thursday is Locals' Night where the comedians get to pull out the stops for the local, sometimes rowdy, crowd. They are always sure to infuse the evening with plenty of inside humor and local references, and end the night with a set of world class improvisation.

Friday: Sketch Comedy and Improv Night
The Telluride Town Council show was so great last year that we decided to bring it back!  Don't miss the comedians making fun of the place we all love…because they love it too!  Next is ‘Pass the Mic’, where comedians literally pass the microphone from person to person telling stories, building on one another and creating stand-up comedy right on the spot.  The night will end with a set of improv that will blow your mind.  Featuring Seth Morris, Brian Huskey, Jason Mantzoukas, Jon Daly, Nick Kroll, Scott Armstrong, Jamie Denbo, Jessica Chaffin and Tig Notaro.

Saturday: Stand Up Comedy
Stand-up comedy with Tig Notaro and Nick Kroll, hosted by Ed Helms, star from The Office, The Hangover and new release (as of 2.11.11) Cedar Rapids.  What else needs to be said?  Tickets are going fast, so jump on this one soon!  The second half of the night, all performers will jump on stage for an exhilarating set of improv. These performers all got their starts as improvisers and Telluride is the place they come to re-unite and re-visit their comedy roots. It is truly amazing what they can create with one tiny suggestion and lots of imagination.

“Tig Notaro is so funny. She is so comfortable on stage and takes her time like a master. She has the timing of Bob Newhart and the body of a tiny lumberjack. It’s so fun to watch her. She’s funny without even saying a word. She just has that thing and it’s hilarious.” - Sarah Silverman, Actor/Writer/Comedian

Sunday:  Rona and Beverly Sketch Comedy
Sunday Night is the finale. Join Beverly and Ronna (Jamie Denbo and Jessica Chaffin) as they come back to town with some new material and steaming hot advice on relationships. If you've never seen these ladies, this is not to be missed. If you have seen them, tell everyone how great they are.  The night ends with a long form improv called 'The Armando', featuring some of the best and funniest improvisers you will ever see.

Here are some raves from their recent run in London at the Soho Theatre.
