Pimps of Joytime live in concert
The Sheridan Arts Foundation presents the Pimps of Joytime at the historic Sheridan Opera House on Friday, March 13, 2015. A band whose name carries a certain "je ne sais quois," the Pimps of Joytime were born out of frontman Brian J’s desire to layer his broad range of musical influences -- soul, funk, blues and rock n' roll -- within the freedom of an unapologetic dance groove. Since 2007, this Brooklyn based wildly infectious group has grown from playing basement parties down the street to headlining more than 100 shows each year, with stops along the festival circuit at Bonnaroo, High Sierra, Outside Lands, All Good, the VooDoo Experience and more.]Tickets are $25 general admission on the floor and $35 reserved tickets in the balcony.

As the keyboarder for the highly acclaimed String Cheese Incident, Hollingsworth has established himself as a formidable and versatile music talent deftly able to contribute, contribute, collaborate, compose, and communicate on a number of levels and within a vast spectrum of musical environments. Nahko and Medicine for the People live in concert
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with one of the hottest up-and-coming bands, Nahko and Medicine for the People at the Sheridan Opera House on March 17, 2015, presented by Essential Productions and the Sheridan Arts Foundation. Nahko has toured with such acts as Michael Franti, Xavier Rudd and Trevor Hall and his most recent album “Dark as Night” last year blasted through the charts, debuting as the No. 6 Top Heat Seeker/New Artist Album, No. 4 Top Alternative New Artist Album. Nahko and Medicine for the People strive to create and perform a sound completely their own with an underlying theme of social and political change woven throughout the songs. Cold War Kids live in concert
The Sheridan Arts Foundation and Telluride Ski Resort present indie rockers Cold War Kids live in concert for the third installment of the Telluride Conference Center Winter Music Series on Saturday, March 28 at 9 p.m. Cold War Kids strive to make honest songs about human experiences in orchards, hotel rooms, laundromats and churches. Cold War Kids return to the touring circuit with their fifth album, “Hold My Home.” It is being hailed for its use of the band’s environment, experience, energy and cohesion while still driving home the familiar Cold War Kids sound that they’ve honed and perfected in the over the past decade. An evening with Loudon Wainwright III
The Sheridan Arts Foundation presents an intimate night of music with Loudon Wainwright III at the Sheridan Opera House on Wednesday, April 1 with Dave McGraw and Mandy Fer opening. Wainwright has had a long and illustrious career highlighted by 22 album releases, a 2010 Grammy for Best Traditional Folk Album for "High Wide & Handsome: The Charlie Poole Project" as well as two previous Grammy nomination. Perhaps best known for the novelty song "Dead Skunk (in the Middle of the Road)" and for playing Cpt. Calvin Spalding (the singing surgeon) on the American TV show M*A*S*H.
